Violet Asgill is a seasoned Human Resources (HR) Practioner with 20 years’ experience specialising in developing HR functions and restructuring organisations to create better efficiency. Her expertise is in Strategic and Change Management, Human Resources Administrative Systems, Organisational Development, Workforce Development and Business Process Re-engineering.

Violet is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Craft HR Limited. Violet has held key Senior HR positions in the United Kingdom for Russell Group Universities in particular King’s College London and the University of Warwick, Community Regeneration organisations and a number of other Corporate Firms in the city. In Sierra Leone her experience varies from revolutionising HR within the fishing industry (Sierra Fishing Company) to transforming The Place Resort, a hospitality company from a start up to a stable and profitable company growing revenues by over 200 percent. She accomplished this through the development of a well-balanced operating strategy spearheaded by development programs that trained over 100 staff at different levels.

Violet has led a number of Restructuring and Change Management Project for a series of organisations in the UK and Sierra Leone. Her Business process Re-engineering skills and Cost Benefit Analysis skills ,  coupled with her HR skills has helped a number of organisation to develop effective operating systems and staffing structures, develop staff  whilst minimising costs and the risks associated with restructuring  and change management processes.

Violet has a passion for capacity building locally and work with her staff to develop a brand that is sustainable over time. Violet is one of the vo-founders of The Freetown Business School( www,fbs.edu.sl)

As part of her Corporate Social Responsibility Craft HR runs a series of Training and Apprenticeship Schemes and offers placements with the organization.

Violet is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD), the professional body for HR and People Development in the UK. She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management, graduating with merit. She also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resources Studies and Law in Business.

Violet is trained as a Professional Trainer and Coach by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health UK. She is also a trained facilitator of ProcessFix UK Limited, an organization that specializes on business process re-engineering.

In her spare time Violet enjoys cooking and baking and creating new recipes.
